1. The initial state of zinc material, which is a coiled alloy of zinc, copper, and titanium, is called the natural zinc (silver-gray). This material is oxidized over a long time to turn blue-gray.

2. On the zinc material, the oxidization process creates a PATINA (oxidized coating layer). As this oxidizing process is not clean, many South Korean companies use blue-gray zinc, which is already oxidized.​

3. Recently, zinc materials of various color, using dyes, etc., are being manufactured.
